[NEWS] The Youngest Champion Of The Players Championship – Kim Si-Woo

The Players Championship is an annual golf tournament of PGA Tour and this year is the 44th times. Not only highly competitive and professional as the last tournaments, The Players Championship 2017 also recorded the brilliant performance of Kim Si-woo as the youngest champion in the history of The Players Championship.

Kim Si-woo is a professional South Korea golfer who is very young (1995) and talented. In 2012, Kim graduated the Qualifying School of PGA Tour, however he was only 17 years old, unqualified to attend the PGA Tour. In 2016, Kim Si-woo won the Wyndham Championship, gaining himself 2 tickets for the PGA Tour to play impressively at The Players Championship this year.

With the perfect calmness and technique, Kim Si-woo convincingly won with the score of 10-under 278, bogey-free 69 (-3), surpassing the experienced golfer Ian Poulter. Kim also broke the record of Adam Scott as the youngest champion (23 years old) in 2005.
