At first, the site has only 18 holes, 2 nines: Palm Course and Lotus Course. However, to meet the increasing demand, it has opened 9 more Desert holes in 2007 to increase the total to 27 over 104 hectares. The Desert Courses are where golfers have to make their best for every crane due to longer and narrower Fairways, an array of complex bunkers and abundance of sand dune acquire accuracy and skillful playing style.
