[TIPS] Chip To Shift Bogeys Into Pars And Birdies

This new revolutionary chipping method, recommended by Joe Hallett – Top 100 Teacher, will make your close shots perfect and escape bogeys in no time!

STEP 1: SET UP YOUR STANCE
Stand tall to the left of the ball, with feet together, the club in your left hand, your toes even with the ball and face the target. Remain this stance while taking a half-step to the left of the ball to make an about 18 inches room between you and the ball.

STEP 2: UP AND RIGHT
Lift up the clubhead in front of your chest with elbows at your sides and hands at your waist. Turn your upper body to the right until it points toward the ball.

STEP 3: DOWN TO THE SWING
Unhinge your elbows and wrists to put the clubface behind the ball square to the target. Bend your knees and hips a little bit.
Hold your stance when swinging the club back, making you use more hinge than arm swing. Make sure the clubhead is not higher than your knees.

STEP 4: CHIP IT
Make your chip shot with your right arm, allowing your body to turn in response.

This setup will prevent you from over-turning the upper body (it’s already turned) as well as mis-shifting weight (your feet are together). As the result, your chip shots will be put in the right track and distance to the hole, which promisingly can make a par or even a birdie!
