[NEWS] HASD Constructs New Golf Course In Hoi An

By the end of May, Ben Styles was appointed to the position of Vice President of Golf and Residential Development of the Hoi An South Development Ltd (HASD). He will be in charge of managing the construction of a new golf links in Hoi An shore when HASD project is at Phase 1. Ben shared that this will be a championship standard 18-hole course, designed by an experienced golf architect Robert Trent Jones Junior.

Phase 1 of the project will be completed in the first quarter of 2019, featuring an 18-hole international standard golf course, a casino, a 445-room hotel, a spa resort incorporating 75 guest villas and 25 exclusive residences.

HASD is a complex resort project with many high-class items such as hotels, resorts, casino, spas, shopping centers, luxury apartments… With a capital investment of up to $4 billion received from VinaCapital, SunCity Group and Gold Yield Enterprise, this 985-ha project has seven phases and is expected to be fully completed by 2035. Sharing about the project, Mr. Don Lam, CEO of VinaCapital said that this will be “one of Asia’s most renowned resort destinations and a new benchmark for high-end tourism in Vietnam.”

Ben Styles has many years of experience and achievements in golf industry in the role General Manager of many major golf courses in Vietnam such as as Chi Linh Star Golf & Country Club, BRG Danang Golf Resort and The Bluffs Ho Tram Strip. The designation for the position as Vice President of Golf and Residential Development is a confirmation of professionalism and an ensurance of quality for the under constructing works.

Once come into operation, Hoi An new golf course will be the largest one in the Central Vietnam, together with other luxury construction of the project, will rise the benchmark of tourism of the region and across the country, higher-class and more attractive to domestic and international tourists.
