[NEWS] In First Matchplay Round, Vietnam Will Face Singapore And Malaysia

Today, August 25th, Vietnam team will be competing in the 4th day with Match Play format. Based on individual results, the 3 best scores will be picked for Men team, and Women team will be chosen by the 2 best scores.

Vietnam Women team’s Nguyen Thao My and Hanako Kawasaki will face 2 Malaysian golfers Nur Durriyah and Loy Hee Ying.

In previous rounds, Vietnam Team has begun in such an unfavorable way when most golfers competing under their abilities. For instance, Nguyen Hung Dung and Truong Chi Quan had several bogeys, Nguyen Thao My, Doan Khue Minh or Hanako Kawasaki was left far behind from the leading top. In the second round, Nguyen Phuong Toan performed much better and went straight to top 3 with Gregory and Marc from Singapore, scoring -4 – the best score of all SEA Games. Other golfers has gradually regained and adapted the intensity of the games with improved scores.
