Hoiana Shores Golf Club is the first Robert Trent Jones II Golf Course Architects (RTJ II) golf course in Vietnam

Robert Trent Jones Jr. is regarded worldwide as “the father of environmental golf course design” for his surprisingly low impact on the landscapes he works with. His courses, among the most highly regarded on Earth, have hosted many U.S. major championships – most recently the 2015 U.S. Open (Chambers Bay in University Place, Washington) and the 2016 U.S. Women’s Open (CordeValle in San Martin, California). Now he’s introducing decades of golf-course-design experience to Vietnam – for the very first time.

The championship Hoiana course is a links design with limited vegetation and rolling dunes. Course building techniques preserved the existing dune and sand pine terrain making holes play through the Casuarina trees and brush native to the area. Other holes, especially the finishing ones (hole 16), come up right along the seas and play inside the coastal dunes. The hole is one of the course’s best holes and is one of four located right on the water’s edge. After that, the last hole 18 par 5 plays back to the clubhouse into the prevailing wind with water on the right and surrounded by dunes. Through your round, we will have spectacular ocean views including Cham Islands.

The golf experience is first-class with facilities and service characteristic of a 5-star luxury resort, or better. The luxury club house spans over 6,000m2.
