[NEWS] The 2nd Open HCMC Junior Golf Tournament – 2017

In less than a month, the golf tournament “The Open HCMC Junior II – 2017” will take place, promisingly to be a fascinating and dynamic sport play ground with the young and talented athletes.

With the cooperation of Saigon Golf Association (SGGA), Department of Culture & Sports HCMC and the Junior Golf Club, the tournament will be on June 17th, 2017 at Vietnam Golf & Country Club, District 9, HCMC.

Besides the Golf, Silver and Bronze medals, merits of the Department of Culture and Sports, the best junior golfers will have a chance to represent HCM Junior Team attending the “Vietnam Junior Open 2017” and the qualifying rounds of Nick Faldo at the Bluffs Ho Tram.

Mr. Nguyen Van Thong, Member of SGGA Executive Board – Head of the Junior Golf Club, Managing Director of the Tournament shared that, this year event is expected to have over 80 junior golfers aging 6 – 18 years from across the country. The 2nd Open HCMC Junior will divide into 3 divisions for Boy, 2 for Girls and 1 general division for younger golfers, with suitable regulations and competing distance for each age and gender.

The Tournament Organizer hope this will encourage, improve professionalism and quality of HCM youth golf, as well as raise the community’s awareness, care and sufficient investment for the best conditions of young golfers community development.
