Turkey hosted for Turkish Airlines World Golf Final in 2012 at PGA Sultan course at Antalya Golf Club. Top 8 golfers in the world – Tiger Woods, Charl Schwartzel, Lee Westwood, Rory Mcllroy, Hunter Mahan, Matt Kuchar, Justin Rose, Webb Simpson – played for the first time in Belek.

This is Colin Montgomerie’s first Mediterranean design which he now rates as one of his finest designs. Tricky and requiring strategy, it features eight lakes and approximately seven hectares of bunkers. In addition, the Montgomerie Maxx Royal Course is part of the select few courses in Belek to use Bent grass instead of Bermuda resulting in a slightly faster play compared to other courses in the area. Carya Golf Club in Belek is a par 72 golf course which stretches to 7,186 yards. It has been designed with traditional English heath land courses in mind like the ones found in Surrey, with nods to the likes of Wentworth, The Berkshire, Sunningdale and Walton Heath.
